يبدو أنّ أحداً لن ينتظر نهاية العام، إذ بدأت المجلات والمواقع بانتخاب الأفضل في مختلف الصعد. وفي هذا السياق، أعلنت Rolling Stone عن أفضل 50 ألبوماً غنائياً لعام 2013، اعترتها الأفضل على الإطلاق.
وقد جاء في المرتبة الأولى Vampire Weekend، عن ألبوم "Modern Vampires of the City". وجاء في المرتبة الثانية Kanye West، عن ألبومه "Yeezus"، فيما كانت المرتبة الثالثة من نصيب Daft Punk، عن ألبومه "Random Access Memories".
وقد تضمنت اللائحة أسماء الكثير من النجوم الذين أصدروا ألبومات رائعة، مثل Eminem، وألبوم " The Marshall Mathers LP2"، و Miley Cyrus عن ألبوم "Bangerz".
