احتفلت العائلة المالكة اليوم بحفل زفاف اللايدي غابرييلا ويندسور Lady Gabriella Windsor على رجل الاعمال توماس كينغستون Thomas Kingston بحضور الملكة إليزابيت الثانية Queen Elizabeth .
حفل الزفاف الذي أقيم في كنيسة سانت جورج في قلعة ويندسور حضره حشد من أفراد العائلة كان أبرزهم الأمير هاري Prince Harry .
وكان تم الإعلان عن زفاف الأميرة في 19 أيلول 2018 ببيان لوالديها أعلنا فيه أنّ رجل الاعمال توماس كينغستون طلب يد ابنتهما في آب 2018 في جزيرة سارك .
Today is lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding in Saint George Chapel at Windsor. @pointdevue_mag will publish a full story about this royal wedding next Wednesday, but before that here are a few details about the tiara. It is a classical Russian fringe tiara which has been worn by three generations of the Kent family. Fringe tiaras appear around the first years of the XIXth century. They are supposed to be of Russian origin copied on the traditional headdress if russian peasant women : the Kokochnik. The first one That we know of was in the Russian imperial treasure. A second one was in the English royal treasure worn by queen Adelaide and then queen Victoria. A third one was created for empress Eugenie of France. Then, dozens of fringe tiaras were created for all. The royal families of Europe. There is one in Sweden, one in Denmark, the queen of England has at least four of them, the Liechtenstein and the Greek royal family also have one each, as well as the Wurtemberg royal family... This one was a wedding present given to princess Marina of Greece (1906-1968) last picture, by the city of London on the occasion of her wedding to the duke of Kent. It was worn by lady Gabriella’s aunt, princess Alexandra, (third picture) on her wedding day in 1963. Then by lady Gabriella’s mother, baroness Marie Christine von Reibniz on the occasion of her own wedding to Prince Michael of Kent, in Vienna, in 1978 (second picture).Today it belongs to prince and princess Michael of Kent who have loaned it to their daughter . The queen and the princess royal have also worn a fringe diamond tiara (from the late queen mother’s collection) in their own wedding day. يذكر أن الأميرة البالغة من العمر 37 عاماً وهي الأبنة الضغرى للأمير مايكل من كينت ولها شقيق أكبر هو اللورد فريديرك وندسور 39 عاماً وهو زوج الممثلة صوفي وينكلمان ولديه ابنتان .
ودرست غابرييلا في مدرسة كوينز جيت بلندن ومدرسة داون هاوس في بيركشاير ثم انتقلت إلى الولايات المتحدة حيث تخرجت من جامعة براون في تخصص الأدب المقارن.
وتعمل الأميرة غابرييلا كمديرة لشركة Branding Latin America ، وكانت في السابق صحفية في مجلةhello ، في حين يعمل خطيبها توماس في مجال الاستثمار
